When your teacher disappears after going on a dangerous mission through space, you must find her and save the world from an evil sorcerer by using one of many Magical Starsigns. When you select your character, you can choose between a male and female with powers in light or dark magic.
During your journey into space, your classmates end up stranded on different planets, and it is your job to reunite everyone so the party may continue its search for your absent educator. All group members have magical powers linked to the sign of the planet they landed on, and the powers will gradually increase or decrease depending on the proximity of each planet. Using the stylus to access the astrolog, a guide to the Magical Starsign solar system, you can check planet positions to decide which characters to use in each battle.
It is possible to spend earned points and cash on attributes and skills, new or upgraded weapons, armor, potions, and other item as your group gains experience by defeating enemies and winning boss battles. If you're lonely, you can connect with up to five friends for challenges and rewards found in the "Amigo Dungeon."
