Midnight Club 3: DUB Edition offers free-form, open-road racing in re-creations of Atlanta, Detroit, and San Diego. Players can race for pink slips in (and against) detailed re-creations of more than 60 models of trucks, cars, and motorcycles by manufacturers such as Lamborghini, Ferrari, General Motors, Ford, Volkswagen, Nissan, Hummer, Kawasaki, Ducati, and others.

Analog Stick Left or Right = steering

D-Pad Right = hydralics mode
D-Pad Up = flash headlights, accept race
D-Pad Down = look back
X Button = accelerate
Circle Button = special ability, activate power-up
Triangle Button = brake, reverse
Square Button = nitro, slipstream turbo
R Button = hand brake
L Button + Analog Stick = in-air control
L Button + Analog Stick = weight transfer, two-wheel driving
Select Button (career cruise mode) = NAV system
Select Button (while racing) = map overlay
